AI Visualization
Client: WAC Group
Creating compelling product imagery doesn't always begin with a finished photograph. Through a combination of art direction, generative AI, compositing, retouching, and traditional image manipulation, I transform existing assets into fully realized environments designed around the product, the brand, and the story each image needs to tell.

Beyond the Original Frame
AI visualization allows an existing image to become the starting point rather than the limitation. Original photography and renderings can be expanded, reconstructed, or reimagined to create environments better suited to the product, application, and intended use.

Each image is individually art directed and refined through a combination of generative expansion, compositing, object replacement, architectural modification, lighting adjustments, retouching, and color grading. The objective is never simply to generate something new, but to create a finished image that feels intentional, believable, and consistent with the visual language of the brand.
From Visualization to Campaign
Created as a hero visualization for the AiSPIRE collection, the finished image became a recurring brand asset across both digital and print applications. It was featured throughout the AiSPIRE website and used multiple times within the catalog, extending a single visual concept across key moments in the customer experience. What began as one visualization ultimately became part of the collection’s broader visual language, reinforcing its premium positioning across channels.

Expanding the Environment
The boundaries of the original image don’t have to define the final composition. Generative expansion creates the opportunity to extend an environment beyond the existing frame while preserving the architecture, perspective, lighting, and visual character of the source.

For this residential visualization, the original frame was expanded to create a more cinematic sense of arrival and establish the home within a complete landscape. Architectural and environmental details were then refined through compositing and retouching, creating a finished image that feels photographed as a single scene rather than assembled in post-production.
Built to Work Beyond the Image
The completed visualization was adapted across WAC Group's digital and editorial platforms, including the WAC Lighting, Modern Forms, and Schonbek websites and the WAC Home catalog. Maintaining a consistent visual language across formats allowed a single image to function as both campaign imagery and a flexible brand asset.

Light, Defined
Featured alongside product specifications in the WAC catalog, the finished imagery connects that visual experience with the technical information behind the application, helping designers and specifiers understand both the effect of the lighting and the products used to achieve it.

Lighting in Context
Architectural lighting was integrated into the environment with careful attention to fixture placement, scale, illumination, and the way light interacts with the surrounding architecture, materials, and surfaces. Each element was considered in relation to the overall composition, ensuring the lighting felt naturally embedded within the space rather than applied as an afterthought. Rather than simply introducing products into an existing scene, the visualization was developed to communicate how the lighting shapes the atmosphere and experience of the environment, guiding the eye, reinforcing architectural features, and helping define the character of the space.
Lighting Integration
Recessed fixtures were integrated into the architectural environment with careful attention to placement, scale, perspective, and illumination. Each application was considered not only in relation to the architecture, but in the way the light itself would interact with surrounding materials, surfaces, and spatial details.
The finished visualization transforms an imagined environment into a believable application. Rather than presenting the product in isolation, the imagery gives it context, demonstrating how subtle architectural lighting can shape the atmosphere, dimension, and character of an interior. The result bridges technical accuracy with aspirational storytelling, creating an environment that feels both visually compelling and true to the product’s architectural purpose.
Across the Brand
The finished imagery extended beyond visualization into real-world brand applications. Featured alongside product specifications in the AiSPIRE catalog, the work helped connect technical product information with an aspirational architectural context. The imagery was also adapted for WAC Group social media, supporting AiSPIRE’s presence at CEDIA Expo and carrying the visualization into a broader campaign environment.

Visual Refinement
The strongest transformation begins with understanding what the existing environment already offers. Here, traditional compositing and retouching refined the interior while strengthening the visual hierarchy around the Modern Forms fixture. The table was extended and restyled, decorative elements were replaced, and surrounding details were simplified to create a more intentional composition.
The finished visualization now serves as the primary application image on the Modern Forms product page, bringing the product into a polished, commercially relevant environment at the point of sale.

Shaping the Composition
Beginning with an AI-generated environment, the composition was refined to shift the visual emphasis toward the dweLED fixtures. Removing peripheral architecture, furnishings, and decorative elements created a tighter application image where the product could take priority.

The environment was further developed through lighting, retouching, and product integration, with careful attention to fixture placement, scale, illumination, and the surrounding surfaces. The finished image retains the character of the original setting while creating a more focused, commercially useful visualization centered on the product.
