Catalog Redesign

Client: WAC Lighting

The WAC Limited catalog redesign brought greater clarity and consistency to a highly technical product publication. Developed alongside three additional catalogs during the same production season, the new system introduced stronger hierarchy, typography, and navigation while preserving the depth of information required by lighting professionals.

Clarity Through Structure

The redesign reorganized the same dense product content through stronger hierarchy, typography, spacing, and more consistent product groupings. Specifications, ordering information, technical drawings, and imagery remained intact, but each element was given clearer visual priority, making the spread significantly easier to scan and navigate.

Rather than reducing information, the redesign changed how that information was experienced, allowing complex technical content to feel lighter, clearer, and more approachable.

Designed as a System

What began as a routine annual update became an opportunity to rethink the Limited catalog as a complete editorial system. Page layouts, typography, navigation, tables, and product presentation were refined throughout the publication to create greater consistency while preserving the technical depth required by lighting professionals.

Developed alongside three additional product catalogs during the same production season, the redesign balanced a substantial creative evolution with the demands of a fast-paced production schedule, resulting in a cleaner, more cohesive catalog built to work as both a technical resource and a branded publication.
